Across the world, wherever you find people the odds are you’ll find families. They come in all sizes and shapes. They can be the source of our greatest joy and, sometimes, the source of our deepest sorrows. Either way, there’s no denying that family is one of the most powerful, influential forces in this life. But what if it’s even bigger than this life? What if families matter on an eternal scale?
It’s not a coincidence that of all the titles given to God, one of the most frequently used is Father. That’s because we are all part of God’s family. When we understand the purpose of family in God’s plan, we can find more happiness and joy with our loved ones and look forward to even deeper relationships with them in the life to come.
