| What Can You Expect When You Talk with Missionaries? |
Thanks for your interest in meeting with missionaries to see how they can help you come closer to God and grow your faith!
Missionaries in your area will reach out soon to set up a time to talk. These helpful facts about missionaries can help you know what to expect:
- Missionaries are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints who volunteer their time to help people improve their lives through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- When the missionaries contact you, you can let them know if you prefer to talk with them in your home, in a public place, over the phone, or via video chat. Anyone is welcome to join!
- All missionary visits are free, and so are any materials they might give you to read, such as the Book of Mormon.
- During your talk with the missionaries, they will pray with you, share an inspirational message, answer your questions, and invite you to worship with us at church.
- Missionary visits usually last between 15 and 45 minutes, but the missionaries can work around your schedule and the things you hope to discuss. If you want to continue talking, they would love to come back for a second visit.
Missionaries can help you find more meaning in life as you learn about God and Jesus Christ and Their love for you. They are looking forward to getting to know you! |

| What is it like to worship with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints? |
You can draw closer to God and to your neighbors by worshipping with other believers in a loving church community. All ages are welcome.
At church, we worship together on Sundays by singing hymns, praying, studying God’s word in the holy scriptures, listening to sermons, and taking the sacrament (similar to Communion). Sometimes we also get together during the week for service projects or other activities.
Curious about what to wear or how long the services will last? Missionaries in your area can let you know when and where your local congregation meets. They can also let you know what to expect and be there to greet you when you’re ready to visit. |
