True friends are hard to find, but church can be a place where friendships bloom. Listen to these friends share how worshipping and serving together at church helped them form lifelong bonds with people they might not have otherwise met.
In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints, one way members of the local church community support each other is through ministering. Each member of the congregation who is willing is paired with another person, and these ministering partners are given a few individuals or families to look out for. That might look like inviting them over for dinner, checking in via text, or bringing over a meal after surgery.
If you want to worship with us, you don’t have to go alone. Missionaries in your area can help you find the time and place of the nearest congregation, let you know what to expect ahead of time, and show you around when you get there. All you have to do is sign up here.
