The angel who appeared to Mary to tell her that she would bring the Son of God into the world and announced the Savior’s birth to the shepherds encouraged each person to “fear not.”
Fear, contention, and anger are the opposites of what Jesus Christ brought into the world. Instead, He brought love. The Prince of Peace taught His followers to be kind, compassionate, patient, and forgiving.
Luke 1:30
“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.”

Your act of kindness might feel small when compared to everything going on in the world, but it could be life–changing for a person who felt like they were barely hanging on.
